I think the scholarships there are different kind of you know, scholarships I'm not going to cover all of you know all because of the time constraint.

There is an Entrance Scholarship, there is Student Awards, and there is a new information that we have received it's at Conestoga College, we have combined, all of our awards and scholarships into one general award application.

So, they have simplified the process for all the students. So, good for you.

Students can apply online through their student portal during the first month of each, semester and you know that you are studying by completing the general award, application you will be considered for all the awards and scholarship, that you will be eligible for.

So, once you have filled up the application so you are done so, it's going to be an automatic process to see whether or not you're eligible for, any of the options and then accordingly automatically you will be getting it,

So, each semester it's going to happen and there is a link that we are sharing with, you and you can click on the link for more information about the awards and, scholarships that are specific to international students.

Thank you, the final bit of advice that we have for you today is to create a budget and I, really recommend doing this before you even arrive in Canada and continue

So, the important steps in creating a budget are first to identify your essential expenses.

We've outlined some of those costs. So, that's food, housing, tuition and transportation. Those things you really can't compromise on, you need to do in order to survive here. Some non-essential examples are entertainment, clothing. We definitely want you to be clothed but lots of, different shopping may not be the best way to save money and there's lots of, options for free entertainment or cheaper entertainment as well that you can look into. After you've identified your expenses, try to measure the income, that you have coming in. Whether that's through jobs or savings or, generous family members and then also measure the expenses leaving each month.  What you're left with hopefully you're left with something and, that can be put towards your next semester's tuition or other costs that, you anticipate coming in down the road.

I know that the system that I use to help, me budget is an app I find that really handy to use because I just download it, onto my phone and every expense that I have I just track it and it does some of, the heavy lifting for me.

 

That way I'm always aware of what I'm spending, what I'm making and I really think if it as a, way not to prevent myself from making, purchases but to allow myself from spending money on the things that I, really care about that I really want to do because I know I have this amount of, money available and I've taken care of everything that I am responsible for.

 Whatever you said sounds awesome but I don't think I'm really good at budgeting, and I would definitely need tips from you to be organized with the financial,

stuff and I think it's very important to be organized when it comes to budgeting,

and to know you know where you're spending and what you're doing with your financial stuff.

Stacy might be having some you know good tips, I think well at least very high tech.

I would be more inclined to write things, down rather than type it out., I feel like I would see things better.

See how low my funds are running right now if i write it down so that's one thing that I do, good news is you can use whatever way works for you as long as you're thinking, about the money that you're spending and the money you are paying.
